Vendor Manager, Marketplace Support – London The Marketplace Support team at Deliveroo supports customers at all stages of the marketplace journey. In this role you will bridge the gap between day‑to‑day operations and long‑term strategy, managing relationships and performance of third‑party vendors to maximise value, efficiency and the customer experience. Responsibilities Managing day‑to‑day relationships with vendors – resolving operational issues, staying updated on new capabilities and product improvements. Ensuring accurate and timely financial reconciliation – costs raised, allocated, paid and reported quickly and effectively. Working on projects to support long‑term strategy – partnering with teams across the business to achieve specific goals such as procuring new capabilities. Responding to and resolving issues and escalations related to partner activity or performance. Maintaining contracts and ensuring any changes are updated accurately and on time. Hosting regular vendor meetings (monthly/quarterly reviews). Exploring opportunities throughout the contract lifecycle to reduce cost or improve outcomes. Developing vendor scorecards to monitor performance and owning specific improvement plans. Accurately tracking, reconciling and reporting vendor spend through robust purchase‑order governance. Owning projects and leading updates for the leadership team and senior stakeholders. Contributing to Deliveroo’s long‑term tooling/vendor strategy and helping define targets, KPIs and goals for the team. Prioritising own goals and taking personal accountability for the quality and accuracy of work. Serving as first‑level escalation for global operations as part of the Manager on Call rotation. Requirements 5+ years of experience in operations or vendor management with outsourced third parties. Experience with million‑dollar contract administration and relationship management. Detail‑oriented and action‑oriented, with a proven track record in cross‑functional projects. Strong analytical background (e.g., Excel pivot tables, INDEX MATCH).
