OverviewAssociate Electrical Project Manager - Data Centres (Nordics) at Arcadis. We are a team of 36,000+ people in over 70 countries dedicated to improving quality of life.Role descriptionPlay a key role delivering tech sector mega-projects. You will be a key member of our team driving the electrical package delivery on one of our largest data centre construction projects.You can be based either 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel to the Nordics (11/3 day rotation).Role accountabilitiesManage the electrical packages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre-construction, construction, and close out/fit-up.Pre-construction: work with the client and general contractor to establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget; support contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations; support contract negotiations; assist the client and team in identifying, scoping, buying-out and scheduling of Owner-direct vendors and consultants.Construction: manage the General Contractor and directly contracted vendors on site; coordinate Value Engineering efforts; work with the Client’s commercial and PCG team to develop Budget Management and Tracking; liaise with the Client’s schedule management team for schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis.Close out / Fit-up: initiate close out process typically two to three months in advance; establish close out documentation requirements with the Client’s document controller; collect and track receipt of all close out documents (warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc.); assist with city/authority final inspections and occupancy; manage Owner-direct vendors and consultants.Qualifications & ExperienceAn in-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques.Ability to manage technical disciplines.Experience on Data Centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably hyperscale builds.Ability to commit to significant international travel.Why Arcadis?We empower everyone to be their best and pursue a skills-based approach to career development.
