This is a great opportunity for a plant engineer or someone with experience working on vehicles looking to take a step up into construction plant. The company offers great training opportunities whilst offering a days‑based role. Responsibilities Carry out maintenance on all plant machinery including vehicles and equipment from larger excavators to small plant, tools and generators. Work within a team of eight, spending around 70% of your time in the workshop and 30% in the field. Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of plant and associated equipment. Operate on a 24/7 basis when required, including overtime and weekends. Qualifications Hold an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent / above) in a related mechanical subject. Mechanically biased with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics. Background in plant, HGVs, motor mechanics (car/van), small tools (including garden machinery) or similar.
