Primary Care Nurse – Practice Plus Group We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Highpoint, a category C Prison located in the village of Stradishall in Suffolk. The Primary Care team comprises 15 staff, including Senior Primary Care Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Non‑Medical Prescribers. Highpoint is split into 2 sites; the North Building hosts around 390 males and the South Building around 950 males. You will be based in one of the designated Healthcare Departments. Highpoint Prison offers Free on‑site gym. Free parking. Career Development / Training opportunities. Hours Monday – Sunday service, 37.5 hours per week. 7:45 am – 6:15 pm – NO NIGHT SHIFTS. Every other weekend and bank holiday also included as part of rota. 4‑week rolling rota. Open to discuss lower hours. Please note transport by car is recommended due to location of the prison. Salary This position is full‑time; starting salary ranges from £34,428 to £41,659 per annum FTE, depending on experience. Benefits Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course. Up to 4% pension contribution. Up to 4 weeks occupation sick pay. Support from the wider team.
