About the Role As a locum Consultant in General Anaesthetics, you’ll deliver safe and effective anaesthesia across a range of surgical specialties. Responsibilities Provide general anaesthesia for elective and emergency procedures. Conduct pre‑operative assessments and post‑operative care. Support junior anaesthetists and theatre staff. Participate in audits and clinical governance. Essential – What We’re Looking For MBBS or equivalent medical degree. Full GMC registration with a licence to practise. FRCA or equivalent. Current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process. UK Right to Work. Strong communication and team‑working skills. Desirable CCT in Anaesthetics (or within 6 months of achieving it).
