Salary:

• Salary range: Level B $85,470 - $101,496 p.a.

• Salary range: Level C $104,699 - $120,727 p.a.

• Level of appointment will be dependent on qualification and experience

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates in all areas of Philosophy for a tenure track position Level B or C. The Discipline of Philosophy seeks to build on its established teaching and research strengths. The successful candidate must be able to contribute to the Discipline's strengths in Moral Philosophy (all levels) and must be able to contribute to teaching in 2 (or more) of the following areas: Philosophy of Science, Continental Philosophy, Metaphysics, Social and Political Philosophy, History of Philosophy (pre 20th century), logic. Ability to contribute to another teaching programs in the School and the Faculty and second language ability will be well regarded. Established research record required. Applicants are requested to submit a teaching portfolio as part of their application.
