Wake Night Support Worker - Ty Arfryn (Accomplish Group) ROLE: Wake Night Support Worker LOCATION: Ty Arfryn, Johnstown (SA31) SALARY: £13.20 - £13.90* per hour HOURS: 35 hours a week – 3 shifts per week SHIFTS: 9:00 PM – 8:30 AM (done in blocks, 3 in a row) About Ty Arfryn Ty Arfryn is a 7‑bed service in the heart of Carmarthen that provides specialist support for individuals with functional mental health needs and/or learning disabilities; this includes individuals with a forensic background, alcohol and substance misuse. The home is within walking distance of the town centre and public transport stops right outside the home. Nearby places of interest include the Excel Bowling Alley, Leisure Centre and extensive woodland walks of natural beauty. Responsibilities Day‑to‑day support and routine of the people we support. Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life. Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests. Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication. Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping. Assisting with personal care as required. Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
