3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants The Opportunity As a Project Manager at Stantec, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex, multi‑disciplinary water sector projects across all stages of the project lifecycle. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is particularly well suited to individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to delivering excellent client service. The position will be based at our offices in Bristol, Taunton or Exeter. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of water sector projects, ensuring they align with client expectations and adhere to Stantec’s Project Management Framework. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Identify and mitigate risks early, addressing issues proactively to keep projects on track. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure financial and operational targets are met. Prepare and present regular project updates and documentation to internal and external audiences. Develop junior team members through coaching and mentoring. Uphold and promote compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. About You Hold a degree in engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies. Professional certification such as PMP or APM is advantageous. Experience with NEC contracts and delivering projects using a risk‑based approach. Experience in the water sector and a background in delivering detailed engineering services.
