Job Title HGV Class 1 C+E Yard Shunter – Strutmasters.com – Rugby, UK Overview Winner Recruitment is looking for Yard Shunters for a client in Rugby. The role involves shunting HGVs in a yard, liaising with the warehouse team, completing paperwork, and maintaining a professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues. Shifts & Start Immediate start available. Day and night shifts are offered, with any 5 out of 7 shift patterns per week. Pay £16.50 – £20.55 PAYE per hour. £18.50 – £22.50 per hour (including holiday pay). Responsibilities Yard shunting on bays liaising with the warehouse team. Accurate completion of paperwork. Professional face‑to‑face interaction with clients and colleagues. Using tablet to control trailer moves. Qualifications Class 1 HGV licence with at least 6 months Class 1 driving experience. No more than 6 points on the licence (no DR, DD or IN codes). Class 1 HGV driving experience for the last 180 days in the UK. Full CPC and digital tachograph card.
