Job Title Lift Engineer – Route Engineer (East Scotland) Job Summary Stannah, a global leader in the lift industry, is recruiting qualified Lift Engineers to cover a route across Edinburgh, Lothian, Scottish Borders and Fife. Working Hours Monday‑Thursday 8:00 – 16:45, Friday 8:00 – 15:45 Responsibilities Conduct maintenance, repair and call‑out visits on various types of lifts. Ensure high‑quality service and safety standards. Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards. Participate in on‑call rota, receiving standby allowance and call‑out payment on top of a competitive base salary. Manage service route autonomously, covering servicing, maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of industrial lifts. Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent. Proven experience as a Lift Engineer / Lift Service Engineer. A valid UK driving licence. Benefits Market‑aligned base salary, paid monthly. Standby allowance and call‑out payment.
