Project & Assurance Officer

A Public Sector organisation is seeking a Project & Assurance Officer on a Fixed term Contract for 6 months paying £44,000 pro rata. You will need to have worked in Public Sector organisations in previous roles, ideally have experience of grants, strong project and assurance experience. Start date in January.Key FunctionsHelp process and validate grant claims, ensuring compliance with funding eligibility rulesAssess adequacy and accuracy of evidence provided for grant claimsMaintain clear records of checks and decisions takenWork with members of the Strategic Partnership to improve the accuracy and quality of information providedSupport the development of assurance processes and compliance checksCoordinate external audits – working effectively with member organisations to provide information to auditorsMaintain and update grant management systems and databasesAssist with the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans, performance dashboards, and programme reports.The ideal candidateAbility to interpret and analyse multiple data sets – with a high level of attention to detailExcellent organisational skills – able to manage competing priorities to meet deadlinesA proactive approach to identifying risk and process improvementAble to build effective relationships with different stakeholdersExperience working in assurance, compliance, grant management #J-18808-Ljbffr
