Job title: Civil Structural Design EngineerJob Type: PermanentStart date: Subject to clearance/ ASAPSalary: £35,000 – £45,000 Per Annum + BenefitsLocation: BristolHours of work: 37 Hours Per WeekThe Role:We are looking to grow our Site Engineering Team in our Bristol office. You will be working collaboratively to deliver innovative and technical solutions to our client's problems and construction team problems involving design aspect.The team is an integrated team you will be part of a site design team of civil engineers, BIM coordinator and draftsmen working on the most complicated RC structures of Nuclear Island buildings in the Hinkley Point C project.You will work with senior engineer building pilot, chief draftsman and drafting team to answer to construction team requests on the design package released by the design back office in France.Main Responsibilities will include:Modifying reinforced concrete or steel structure designs compliant with the ETC-C or other relevant codes (Eurocodes) and project methodology.Checking and coordinating the detailing activities with CAD designers or other engineers in preparation of 3D BIM rebar model and/or 2D drawings of reinforced concrete or steels structure.Managing engineering changes in line with company/project procedures and QA process.In charge of the assessment and the response to Field Changes Requests, Field Information Requests or Site Non-Conformance coming from the civil works contractors.Liaising with other stakeholders of site engineering team or construction team for clarification on the site request.Liaising with the Back Office in France, Poland, Romania and Tunisia for clarification on design package or for closing out of design package issues.Technical review and acceptance of contractor deliverables including Site Walkdowns and inspections.Experience/Qualifications:All candidates MUST be Degree qualified Civil EngineersAll candidates MUST have 4-5 Years ExperienceYou must have working knowledge of the detailed design phases and how this is transitioned to the construction phase.All candidates MUST have previous experience of working in a highly regulated industry and have worked to Eurocodes and BS.All candidates MUST have experience of working with Reinforced Concrete and Steel Structures.Chartered Engineer - DesirablePlease note all candidates MUST hold Right to work in the UK, candidates who are on Visa Sponsorship can be considered providing they already have this in place.Please note for this role all candidates MUST be eligible to obtain BPSS Clearance.Interested in this position? please click "apply now"We try to respond to all applicants, but sometimes this is not possible due to high volumes of applications; if you have not heard from us within 14 days, regrettably it means you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.Company information:This is a Volunteer vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd.We celebrate and support diversity and are committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants. #J-18808-Ljbffr
