Special Needs Teaching Assistant Primary School Hammersmith Start Date: January 2026 Location: Hammersmith, London Contract: Full time, whole academic year Pay: £90 £105 per day (depending on experience) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA / LSA) to join a supportive primary school in Hammersmith from January 2026. This full-time position involves providing targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential. The role offers the chance to work within a school that values inclusion and the development of every child, alongside experienced teaching staff and a strong SEN team. Key Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including learning, social, emotional, or behavioural needs Assist teachers and the SENCo in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) Support pupils with engagement, focus, and independence during lessons and activities Help adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning needs Monitor and report on pupils progress, contributing to planning and review meetings Encourage positive relationships, confidence, and social development The Ideal Candidate Experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting Patient, adaptable, and compassionate, with a genuine passion for inclusive education Strong communication and teamwork skills Proactive approach to supporting both pupils and staff Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Work With anzuk?
