Coventry City Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Team Manager to join our Children We Care For Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team of Social Workers and Family Support Workers, ensuring children and young people receive the highest quality care and support.

Your new role
You will play a key role in care planning, safeguarding, and achieving permanence for children in care, while driving operational improvements and fostering a learning culture within your team.What You'll Do

Lead and manage a team of social work professionals.
Ensure robust care planning and positive outcomes for children and families.
Work collaboratively with partners to develop services and influence practice.
Promote a supportive environment where staff can thrive and develop.
Maintain manageable caseloads to deliver the best possible service.What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Significant management experience in children's social care.
Strong knowledge of legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice.
Excellent communication skills to build relationships with families and partners.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Experience in safeguarding and care planning for children in careWhat you'll get in return
