If you are committed to code that is clean, well-tested, well-reviewed, performant and secure, then you’ll fit in around here.Your responsibilities:Work as part of an agile development team to implement mobile applications for iOS devices to deliver enterprise servicesWrite automated unit and integration tests for your codeDesign, in collaboration with other developers, product management, and the user experience team, user interfaces and software implementations that satisfy business requirementsDesign, in collaboration with the architecture team, the system architectures that satisfy business requirementsCollaborate with SDETs (Software Development Engineers in Test) in the development of test cases for codeDocument code and detail designsCollaborate with product owners on user story generation and refinementMonitor and support the operation of production systemsParticipate in knowledge sharing activities with colleaguesAbout you:Minimum 2+ years of experience building native applications for Apple devices with SwiftExcellent problem-solving skills and a love for technical challengesUnderstanding of the principles of computer scienceSolid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles, design patterns, algorithm designStrong architectural knowledge (TCA, Redux, Functional Reactive Programming, MVVM) and passionate about writing clean, modular, and testable codeDeep understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation, structured concurrency, and dependency injectionExperience with source code managementExperience working with RESTful APIsAbility to debate the pros and cons of different technical approaches and work independentlyAbility to provide insight into iOS development best practices and support decisions around framework and tool choicesA strong sense of ownership in your work and a hunger to build something remarkableFocus on customer outcomes and making data-informed decisionsA positive mindset, can-do attitude, being proactive, and a team playerNice to haves:Experience with Objective CContributions to open source projectsHave one or more apps published in the App StorePost-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subjectKnowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and platform conventionsWhat you can expect:At Global Relay, there’s no ceiling to what you can achieve.
