Lecturer in Accounting and Finance – East London Full‑time, Permanent – 40 hours per week. Sponsorship not offered. Location: London, East London. Salary: £55,000. Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess student work ensuring learning outcomes are met. Develop, update, and improve course materials. Use a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials. Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and other administrative duties. Stay current with developments in the field and student support practices. Work toward objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and progression. About you Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area. Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough, organised student records. Ability to work under pressure, plan, and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑working skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probation and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent). Experience designing and developing academic or professional education programmes.
