We are looking for a skilled and driven Test Design Engineer based near Edinburgh, Livingstone to help bring cutting‑edge products to life. In this role, you’ll be a key player in the design, development, and validation of test solutions—from initial concept to commercial launch. Your work will directly support the delivery of high‑quality, reliable products to global markets. Responsibilities Design, develop, and verify robust test systems using industry‑standard tools and equipment. Create and analyse test designs with a focus on efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the full product life cycle—from concept to sustaining support. Maintain detailed project documentation aligned with quality and change management standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean Sigma principles to enhance processes and eliminate waste. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in test design or similar engineering roles. Must have knowledge in LabVIEW and TestStand. Hands‑on experience with automated test systems, functional and environmental testing. Strong knowledge of Lean Sigma principles and structured design methodologies. Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
