This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious high achiever to join the group function of a leading Life Insurer and gain exposure to cutting edge ALM & Financial Risk work. Ideal Profile: FIA / CFA with a highly inquisitive mindset ALM / Capital / Investment Risk experience with a good understanding of an Insurance Balance Sheet and Solvency II (Matching Adjustment) Exceptional communication and senior stakeholder management skills. You will be in a high-profile team that reports all the way through to the Group CFO Knowledge of Investments would be preferred but this can be taught Strategic thinking. You will have a consultant mindset with the drive to seek out problems and solve them. You will then need to communicate findings in an effective manner The line manager could potentially consider someone from an LDI background. You would need to demonstrate in interview a lot of reading up on an Insurance Balance Sheet and Solvency II The ideal level of experience will be in the 7-10 years’ range This is an outstanding opportunity to gain experience on the asset side of the balance sheet which is the key experience required in the Life Insurance sector today.
