No.: CJD241025JLocation: Based near Milton KeynesSalary: £32,000 – £37,000This is an ideal opportunity to join my client, a well-respected, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy renowned for lending their expertise to projects across the Civil and Structural Engineering landscapes. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced, enthusiastic Civil Engineer with a strong background in Drainage and Infrastructure who is willing to take on a challenging array of projects across a variety of sectors, based near the modern, green city of Milton Keynes.BenefitsCompetitive salary (commensurate with skills and experience)Generous annual leave allowancePossibility of hybrid/flexible working opportunitiesExtensive training and career progression opportunitiesAccess to a range of interesting, high-profile projects across the regionAn inclusive, collaborative working environmentOpportunities to contribute to the company’s growthResponsibilitiesDesigning drainage, highways, and external works across new build and refurbishment projectsProducing technical documents with respect to the relevant Section Agreements (particularly S38, S278, and S104)Liaising with clients and other stakeholders at all stages of project delivery, from initial inception through to successful implementation and deliveryMentoring other colleagues, sharing best practice and aiding in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD)Required skills and experienceA Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil EngineeringDemonstrable experience of working in a design-based role in a UK consultancy settingPrior experience of producing Drainage Strategies and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)Experience of highways and external works designExcellent working knowledge of relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage, Ground Modelling, WinDes, etc.Previous experience of liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectorsOutstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsGood literacy and numeracy skillsThe ability to work as part of a high-performing team, as well as on your own initiativeFull, valid UK Driving LicenceDesirable skills and experiencePrior experience of the Flood Risk sector (including authoring Flood Risk Assessment) or Transport PlanningExperience in the use of BIMPrevious experience of managing an extensive range of projectsGood working knowledge of Civils 3D, Site 3D, and RevitPossess Chartered Status (or actively working to attain this)If you are interested in the role of Civil Engineer, please do not hesitate to contact Caroline Davis at Penguin Recruitment.
