The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a range of creative food concepts that meet the highest standards in food production, presentation and service within a large‑scale school environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement innovative food concepts for the menu and service.Lead the catering team, fostering teamwork and motivating staff.Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service.Ensure compliance with catering legislation and health & safety regulations.Manage the catering budget and contribute to cost‑effective procurement.Communicate with school staff, parents and suppliers to deliver excellent customer care.QualificationsIn‑depth knowledge of practical cooking in a large‑scale environment.Sound knowledge of catering legislation and budget management experience.Supervisory experience with strong leadership and motivational skills.Excellent communication skills and an emphasis on customer care.IT skills and a sound knowledge of catering legislation.Passion for quality, coupled with the highest standards in food production, presentation and service.Application ProcessApplications must be submitted on the Support Staff Application Form and emailed to office@st-josephs-lichfield.staffs.sch.uk.
