This well-established, multi-disciplined company provides a host of various professional services to clients nationwide. Due to current business requirements, they are now looking for an experienced Health & Safety Consultant based in and around the Blackburn area. Applications from Accrington, Burnley, Ribchester, Darwen and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience: Will have a strong technical/consultancy/management/auditing/asbestos/legionella background. Possess the relevant NEBOSH, CMIOSH, NEBOSH L5 and P402 certificates – Health & Safety qualifications are essential. Experience working within the specified industries e.g. asbestos, legionella and fire would be beneficial. Excellent communication skills. A good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, policies & procedures. Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Main Responsibilities: Attend sites to carry out inspections relating to the Health & Safety performance of the teams. Undertake legionella risk assessments. Carry out asbestos re-inspection surveys. Health & Safety, Staff and Compliance audits. Provide technical support to the company’s clients. Produce comprehensive Health & Safety and Environmental reports. Conduct Safety Training courses.
