Court of Protection Solicitor – East London Salary: £48,000–£65,000 (DOE) Oculus Legal Group is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected East London law firm that is expanding its highly ranked Private Client department. They are seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor (NQ+) to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone at the start of their career - or looking to build on early experience - to develop specialist expertise within a supportive, forward‑thinking practice. The Role In this rewarding position, you will: Manage your own evolving caseload of property and affairs Court of Protection matters, including deputyship applications, statutory wills, and financial management. Work closely with vulnerable clients, families, and professional deputies – providing compassionate, tailored, and high‑quality legal advice. Collaborate with an experienced and approachable team, benefiting from structured training, supervision, and ongoing mentorship. Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and external professionals, contributing to the department’s continued growth. About You You will be: A newly qualified or recently qualified Solicitor (NQ+), with a genuine interest in Court of Protection or Private Client work. A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting vulnerable individuals. Organised and detail‑driven, able to balance a busy caseload with empathy and professionalism. Ambitious, proactive, and eager to develop within a growing and well‑regarded team.
