The Senior Counsel, Cytiva EMEA will provide legal support across multiple Cytiva operating companies based out of our offices in Amersham (UK), Freiburg (Germany), Basel or Fribourg (Switzerland). The role includes working closely with business and functional teams and certain strategic customer accounts. What You Will Do Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial and direct procurement agreements as well as other strategic business agreements and transactions Applying legal and business judgment to proposed deals, relationships and other issues requiring legal or compliance attention Supporting initiatives of the COO with a focus on continuous improvement activities in the Commercial space Providing legal & compliance training to the business; legal support to certain manufacturing sites in the region Managing disputes and litigation; outside counsel to defined budgets when brought in to assist and provide region legal support to other parts of Cytiva and Danaher on an ad‑hoc basis Who You Are JD (or equivalent) with active bar membership (or equivalent) in Germany or Switzerland. English and German language proficiency essential. Significant business law experience at a large law firm or corporate legal department, including drafting, negotiating and closing complex business transactions in a regulated environment (e.g. purchase and sales agreements), preferably with experience gained in a commercial role within the healthcare or life sciences industry. Strong project management and prioritization skills; ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience identifying and resolving legal issues quickly and effectively; ability to make on‑the‑spot risk calls. Proven team player with ability to work across all levels of the organization including multiple functional and business stakeholders.
