Bank Nursery Practitioner – Zero Hours Flexible Contract. Location Wellingborough Day Nursery, 63 Croyland Road, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, NN8 2AU. Pay £12.21 - £12.45 per hour + accrued holiday pay. Working Hours Zero hour contract – flexibility to work different shifts each week between 8am‑6pm, Monday to Friday. About the Nursery The nursery has four rooms – a 13‑place baby room, a 16‑place toddler room, and two preschool rooms that can hold up to 32 children. The facility includes its own garden spaces and is located next to Croyland Park. Key Responsibilities Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and care. Requirements Experience working in a childcare setting is required. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential. Valid right to work in the UK. Willingness to undergo DBS checks and meet reference requirements. We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
