To ensure that the patient is the central focus of a streamlined patient journey ensuring optimal quality of care. Working as a nurse practitioner, provide a prompt response to calls from colleagues, prioritising importance and clinical need. Manage own caseload to include assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment within parameters and training. To lead the specialist Nursing contribution to the service, work in partnership with lead clinicians, General Managers, Matron to ensure the delivery of high standards of patient care. Main duties of the job Suitable post for an experienced registered nurse with established clinical skills and a wish to further develop specialist clinical skills and knowledge as an independent practitioner. Support the provision of specialist service knowledge and advice to other nursing staff, the wider multi-professional team, allied health professionals, patients and their families/carers. Support the provision of education and training including health promotion. The post holder will be part of a team who provides high quality service delivery and nursing care. The post holder will contribute to service development, improvement and management, demonstrating a proactive approach to issues and service quality.
