There may be an opportunity for additional hours to cover staff absence The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in a clinical ward based environment and also non-clinical areas, ensuring that a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained. Full on-site training is provided and PPE provision is also included. Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check. Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position. Main duties of the job To support the Facilities Function to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented andmaintained. Main duties will include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, emptying bins, use of mechanical floor cleaning machines. This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
