SGF Operator

Pertemps are looking for a motivated SGF Operator to join our team at BOC Limited, Stallingborough. As an SGF Operator, you will be responsible for preparing, filling, and analysing a wide range of products, including complex mixtures, pure gases, and gaseous and liquid mixtures to production order recipes. You will also be responsible for following an analytical approach to problem‑solving and developing new GLC methods within restricted time constraints. What hours will I be working? Double Day Shift - 37 hours per week Early shift: 06:00 start Late shift: 13:15 start What will I be paid? £17.89 per hour Responsibilities Prepare, fill, and analyse a wide range of products, including complex mixtures, pure gases, and gaseous and liquid mixtures to production order recipes Analyse, quantify, and certify a vast range of complex gaseous and liquid mixtures that comply with the requirements of ISO Guide 34 and ISO 17025 Develop new GLC methods within restricted time constraints Follow an analytical approach to problem‑solving to understand root causes for non‑conformances Continuously improve filling techniques and capability Work with over 300 raw materials and understand how their properties and potential impurities can affect the filling of complex mixtures Use various computer‑based applications for analytical processes Requirements HNC or HND in a science‑related subject, preferably chemistry, or several years of experience within BOC Experience in analytical techniques FLT licence required for some tasks (desirable) Ability to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills Good computer skills Attention to detail and accuracy How do I apply?
