About The Role This is a pivotal role where you’ll be responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring product quality, and leading a high‑performing team. You’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations while shaping long‑term strategy, ensuring our plant runs smoothly, safely, and profitably. Key Responsibilities Boost Efficiency: Increase packaging line throughput, minimise downtime, and achieve OEE targets. Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and HSE standards while reducing defects and waste. Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and line teams, building strong engagement and succession plans. Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma projects to cut costs, improve flow, and reduce stoppages. Resource Management: Oversee labour, budgets, materials, and inventory to keep operations cost‑effective and seamless. Customer Focus: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to meet service levels and support audits. Strategic Growth: Align operations with business strategy, support new product launches, and plan for future capacity. Qualifications 5–7 years proven experience in operations management, ideally within a production or packaging environment. Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing teams. Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication abilities. Background in budgeting, financial oversight, and operational reporting. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimisation. Degree in Business/Operations Management or related field preferred.
