About the Role Working pattern: 5 days a week, core hours 8 am – 6 pm. Job Description Lead the growing Girlswear design department on a fixed‑term contract. Inspire a team of designers and assistants, guiding trend direction, design initiatives and growth for a multi‑product category. Recruit and develop the Girlswear Design team. Oversee the ongoing development of the team, providing strategic direction and day‑to‑day support. Identify and communicate new, growing and declining market trends with the wider design team. Communicate the company vision, set clear goals and keep the team highly motivated. Maintain strong relationships with the immediate team and collaborate with other key stakeholders across the Children’swear category. Travel for global trade shows, inspirational trips and factory visits. About You Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence within the team. Forward‑thinking design professional with strong knowledge of trends. Organised with strong time‑management skills. Passionate about girlswear and committed to pushing the department forward. Team player with excellent people skills and experience leading talented designers.
