Longvernal Primary School are looking for an Early Years Trained Breakfast Club & After School Club Supervisor to look after pupils who use our wrap around facilities. Hours: 6 Hours a week 7.30am – 9.00am Breakfast Club Monday & Tuesday 3.00pm – 6.00pm After School Club Thursday Salary: Grade 1 SCP 3-4 24,796.00 – 25,185.00 – Actual Salary 3,393.03 – 3,446.26 pro rata Closing Date: Friday 14th November 2025 Longvernal is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Responsibilities and Duties Provide safe creative and appropriate play opportunitiesEnsure that all activities are carried out within an equal opportunities frameworkUndertake any necessary trainingEncourage community-wide participation and activity planning and deliveryDevelop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents to facilitate day to day caring needsConsult with the children and involve them in the planning of activitiesEnsure that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible mannerEnsure that food provision is carried out within the guidelines of the food safety act 1990Ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offeredEnsure that play meets the full range of children's individual and group needsThe main purpose of this role is to assist with providing a caring engaging and secure environment for children between the ages of 4-11 through individual attention and group activities by organising an appropriate range of leisure activities. Qualifications Childcare Practitioner should be organized, enthusiastic, with a professional childcare qualification and experience in a similar role. Ideal candidates would have both a food hygiene and first aid certificate. Required Experience Experience in childcare or a similar role.
