This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.Working Hours & LocationLocation: RotherhamAbout The RoleMaintain great customer service and communicationAdhere to company absence reporting procedureUpdating and completing site documentation using electronic tabletEnsure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of workCarry out site specific risk assessments and discuss any changes or amendments with team member and site supervisorOperate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasksFollow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environmentPerform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthinessReport any issues or hazards by following company proceduresEnsure all works are carried out in line with approved method statementsMaintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working conditionEnsuring on and off sites are live to avoid any penalties with highways permitsWearing and maintaining in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bringing to your supervisor’s attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipmentCarry out groundwork tasks such as digging trenches, laying pipes, spot repairs and preparing surfaces for constructionInstall and maintain over-pumping systemsMaintain safe excavations with installation of ground supportBe able to read and understand Drainage plansRecording photographic evidence of jobs performed and completedTroubleshoot issues related to drainage systems and provide effective solutionsExperience and QualificationsFull UK driving licence (Required)NPORSBanksmanManual HandlingEmergency First AidNRSWAEUSR National Water HygieneAsbestos AwarenessCPC Driver Training (HGV only)Slinger and SignallerAbrasive WheelsCalm WaterEUSR Safe Dig – Cat & GennyEUSR Water SHEAFace Fit Tested – FFP3Dumper Wheeled Forward TippingEUSR Shuttering & Shoring – Deep ExcavationExcavator Above10Ton – TrackedExcavator Below10Ton – TrackedNRSWA – Operative Units (LA,01-06)Sygma SolutionsConfined SpacesSSSTS or SMSTSExcavator used as Crane Lifting OperationsFull training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.Why Join Lanes Group?At Lanes Group, nothing is more important than the health, safety, and well‑being of our people and customers.
