Our Vision: Changing lives through education. The Role Lecturer teaching across a range of undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends. Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess student work ensuring all learning outcomes are met. Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate. Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials. Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties. Keep up to date with latest developments in the field and student support practices. Work towards defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression. About You Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Experience of accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records. Work well under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills. Able to work with diverse groups of people. Desirable Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent). Experience of design/development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent.
