It has well‑developed programs in Aging and Dementia, Sleep Disorders, Stroke, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular Medicine, Movement Disorders, Neuroimmunology and Neuro‑Oncology. Montefiore Medical Center, the teaching hospital of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, hosts the Sleep‑Wake Disorders Center of the Department of Neurology – the first Accredited Sleep Disorders Center in the USA. The Department of Neurology is seeking a Senior Clinical Faculty Member for our world‑renowned Sleep‑Wake Disorders Center. This practice is located at the Moses Division, the main campus of Montefiore Medical Center, and has easy access for patients from northern New York suburbs, Connecticut, New Jersey, Long Island, Manhattan and Queens. Candidate Qualifications Board‑Certified in Sleep Medicine. At least 5 years of full‑time clinical and research sleep medicine practice. Extensive publication record in sleep medicine. Experience or interest in developing research programs with NIH, foundation, or industry funding. Clinical practice focused on sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment, including sleep‑related breathing disorders, hypersomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, insomnia, parasomnias, and sleep disorders with a neurological focus such as narcolepsy and REM sleep behavior disorder.
