Healthcare & Regulatory Solicitor (Legal Director), 7+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £80,000+ (DOE) – This is a chance to be part of a diverse and intellectually stimulating practice area that offers meaningful, high-impact work across health, social care, and education sectors. JOB REF: 1783. THE ROLE You will work alongside respected specialists in a team known for its depth of expertise and genuine commitment to improving outcomes in public services. You will be responsible for a varied caseload to include complex children’s services and Court of Protection matters to SEND and broader regulatory issues. Providing advocacy at Court of Protection hearings and SEND Tribunals. Offering clear, practical advice to local authority and public sector clients. Taking an active role in business development and client relationship management. Supporting and mentoring team members, contributing to the ongoing development of the practice. SKILLS REQUIRED Applications are sought from solicitors with a minimum of 7 years’ PQE, with significant experience in health, social care, or education law. You will have demonstrable expertise in Court of Protection and/or SEND work. Proven ability in business development within the local authority sector. Strong advocacy, drafting, and communication skills.
