Our Client Evri, is seeking Warehouse/Forklift Operators to join their growing team based in Mallusk.EVRi is one of the UK’s largest parcel delivery companies, dedicated to providing flexible, reliable, and sustainable delivery solutions. We operate nationwide, supporting both businesses and consumers with efficient, customer-focused logistics services.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a counterbalance forklift truck to load and unload trailers, vehicles, and containersMove, stack, and organise pallets and goods within the warehouse in line with operational requirementCarry out manual handling tasks including lifting, stacking, and sorting parcelsInspect forklift equipment before use and report any defects or maintenance needsFollow all health & safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and othersAssist in general warehouse duties such as sorting parcels, scanning packages, and preparing items for dispatchMaintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse at all timesWork closely with the warehouse team and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operationsAdapt to different duties as required to meet business demandsCarefully unloading parcels from vans, trucks and trailers onto a conveyor belt allowing the parcel to be accurately scannedWorking with conveyor belts and other machinery (when trained to do so) to load/unload parcels onto the belt, whilst ensuring the parcel presentation is correctMoving and sorting parcels from conveyor system into the designated delivery locationsUsing hand-held devices (HHT's) to scan parcels following the correct Standard Operating Procedure and achieving compliance KPIs to the specific warehouse areaThe regular use of pump trucks to move collars, pallets and other assetsSorting parcels into smaller locations and postcodes ready for the final mile delivery operationAdhering to all company policies and procedures in your area and for behaving in line with the Evri valuesSkills and QualificationsValid and in date Counterbalance Forklift LicencePrevious experience in a warehouse or distribution environmentAbility to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to undertake manual handling dutiesExperience loading/unloading trailers using a forkliftKnowledge of health & safety procedures in a warehouse environmentFurther InformationIf you are interested in this role, please forward your CV through to Kinga.McVeigh@industrialtemps.com or call our Belfast office on 028 9032 2511 ask for KingaVacancy ID 1746953 Job Sector Transport, Distribution and Warehousing Area Co Antrim Location Mallusk Salary £13.21 per hour plus £10 bonus per week No. vacancies 10 Contract Type Temporary Weekly hours 40 Published date 21/11/2025 Closing date 01/01/2026 Worktime 5 to 6 days per week.
