OverviewAs a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts you are responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives. You will ensure stock can deliver the sales budgets and the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly.Main DutiesManage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departmentsPick and load van / carrier accurately for timely customer delivery when requiredCheck stock quantities are correct against computerUse personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstaclesEnsure the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly and assist the branch manager with holidays / sickness cover, preparing weekly plans, developing the warehouse team and working with Drivers to ensure the best delivery service for customersCreate a positive and supportive environment where employees are valued and can reach their true potentialWorking hours41 (average) hours Monday to Friday including alternate Saturday workingAbout YouAs the Warehouse Controller you will have a great track record of managing a warehouse ideally gained within a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.What you’ll need to succeedAbility to motivate and lead a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood planning and organisational skillsAbility to work calm under pressureCustomer and Sales focusedPrevious experience of use of MAM is desirable but not essentialWhat we'll offerBenefits at GSF Car Parts are designed to support all aspects of our team members life throughout their career.
