PRODUCTION OPERATORS Salary / rate : £12-21 per hour basic for over 21 days rate - 7-30 to 4-30 monday to thursday; 7-30 to 2 friday - NOTE : we work every other friday so this is a 37 hour week £10-00 basic for 18 to 20 years Work is regular days initially but the roles we are recruiting for now will move to 2 shifts once training is complete - the roles are to be an operator on the print lines as that is the area where we are expanding and so moving to 2 shifts : 2 shift rate - 20% premium for both shifts : 6-2; 2-10 Note - every other friday is a non-work day so there is no friday 2-10 shift £14.65 per hour with shift pay Job Description : Operate a range of machinery Packing and inspection - responsible for the quality of your own work Meet production targets Work safely and tidily Full training will be given and supervision is always on hand to help We have a good, committed friendly workforce and are looking for more of the same - self-starters who come, do their job and take pride in their work without the need for heavy supervision. About the Company Ashfield Extrusion Ltd is a specialist in the manufacture of aluminium impact extrusions and subsequent machining, finishing and printing operations. The Company makes a wide range of products for a number of markets. We export over 50% of what we make. Owing to continued expansion we are looking to recruit a number of people for permanent work on days to begin with but shift work may be available after training. Most of our workforce are on regular days. We would also be willing to take on some people for temporary contracts whilst we are recruiting for the permanent positions.
