You’ll be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Suitable candidates will have experience of management and/or shift leading within a social care setting. Being a Senior Support Worker takes leadership skills, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return. Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, and will include evening and weekend working. Please note for this role you must be able to drive and have a car you can use while working. Pinecroft is our specialised residential home where we support autistic adults who have a variety of mental health needs. We support them to develop skills to promote their health and wellbeing, inclusion in the local community and greater independence. We are looking for staff with a “can do” approach who can offer active support to facilitate and enable the people we support to progress and move on.
