Job Title: Business Lecturer Location: Lancashire Contract: Temporary, Full-time Rate: £30-35p/h Eden Brown are looking for a passionate and experienced Business Lecturer to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across a range of business courses. This role will run until mid January 2026. Role Overview As a Business Lecturer, you will deliver teaching for Year 1 and Year 2 Level 3 Business students, T Level Business students, and Level 2 adult learners. You will be responsible for planning and teaching units such as English Legal System, Exploring Business, and Business Decision Making for Level 3 students, as well as units on Research Methods, Health and Safety, and Essential Business Skills for adult learners. You will work with well-resourced courses, ensuring that lessons are delivered to the specified resources, with a focus on providing regular assessments, constructive feedback, and academic support to learners. Key Responsibilities Deliver lessons on a range of business topics Use the provided resources to teach each unit, ensuring lessons are structured and engaging. Assess student progress through regular assessments and assignments, providing timely and constructive feedback. Prepare for lessons and assessments, with time allocated for prep in between teaching sessions. Support students' individual learning needs, helping them to achieve their academic potential. Attend regular business meetings (Wednesdays at 2:30pm) to discuss student concerns, share insights, and contribute to team discussions. Mark assignments and maintain records of students' progress. Provide pastoral care and academic guidance to students, ensuring they are supported throughout their studies. What We Are Looking For A degree (or equivalent) in Business or a related discipline. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed). Experience in teaching Business at the Level 3 and T Level qualifications. Experience in teaching Level 2 adult learners is highly desirable. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage students with varying levels of knowledge and skills, and to support their academic development.
