The Role At AMS, we're always looking for ways to develop and enhance our services, and our Service Enablement function is no different. We're currently recruiting a Scrum Business Analyst to support the development of new and existing services. This role offers you the chance to build your skills and grow into a subject matter expert in one of our key growth areas. Key Accountabilities As a Scrum Business Analyst within our Service Enablement function, you will be responsible for: What you'll be doing Providing analytical support for feature development. Proactively investigating and assessing issues, trends, and insights, offering clear recommendations to the team. Collaborating with other business units to deliver effective business solutions. Supporting the creation, refinement, and management of User Stories. Assisting with the testing of services and processes. Supporting Delivery Management in sharing updates on roadmap items and timelines, ensuring clear communication between Technology, Strategy, and Operational teams. Leading Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, refinements, and poker planning. Communicating information at varying technical levels to suit different stakeholders. Understanding and supporting the achievement of operational performance metrics. Compiling and reporting insights from defect reports and helping to drive associated action plans. Skills & Experience You’ll Need to Demonstrate Experience as a Business Analyst within an Agile development team. Experience leading Scrum ceremonies. Familiarity with backlog management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and system modelling tools (e.g., Visio). Proven ability to define and refine backlog items. Experience understanding customer needs and translating them into business requirements. Strong decision-making and project management skills, with the ability to resolve complex problems independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
