We are seeking customer focused Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional service standards, deliver an outstanding guest experience, and maintain a smooth and efficient workflow across all front-of-house functions.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and training FoH staff, coordinating service with the kitchen team, overseeing bookings, and handling customer inquiries and complaints. You will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and well-organised environment for both guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a seamless and high-quality dining experience.
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
Train, mentor, and supervise FoH staff to ensure service standards are consistently met.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service.
Manage customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and solution-focused manner.
Oversee bookings and reservations to optimise guest flow and seating efficiency.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Supervise food and beverage offerings to maintain quality and consistency.
Maintain an organised, welcoming, and efficient front-of-house environment.
Support overall restaurant management, contributing to operational improvements and team performance.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to enhance guest satisfaction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
Experience in training, and supervising staff.
Sound understanding of food and beverage operations.
Proven organisational and time management abilities in a busy hospitality environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
Prior managerial experience in hospitality or food service is highly desirable.
