Detailed Job Description & Main Responsibilities Attend multidisciplinary skull base clinics and MDTs, provide information, education and practical support for patients and their families with vestibular schwannoma and other skull base pathologies. Be a single point of contact for questions about diagnosis, scan results, changes in symptoms, coordination of treatment. Help in the follow up and rehabilitation of patients after the treatment of their vestibular schwannoma including referral to and liaising with other agencies such as audiology, physiotherapy, speech therapy and vestibular rehabilitation. Participate in data entry and coordination of the national Vestibular schwannoma database. Must be a Registered nurse, Registered AHP on relevant part of NMC or HCPC register. Level 7 Post Grad Cert (Min 60 Credits) or Master’s degree or equivalence within relevant speciality. Specialist training / Qualification in area of practice. Higher Education Institute approved course in supporting learners in practice. Provide evidence of supporting a range of learners in practice. Specialist clinical skills and experience within specialist area. Evidence of policy development and implementation. Evidence of change Management, leadership and innovation. Evidenced based care philosophy. Clinical experience at Band 6 or equivalent within relevant speciality. Desirable Criteria Leadership Qualification / training. Team leadership role.
