We're recruiting across a range of inpatient settings, including: Adult and older adult acute mental health wards Psychiatric intensive care wards Rehabilitation and high support wards You'll be working alongside dedicated multidisciplinary teams, using your skills to deliver person-centred care in line with our values of kindness, fairness, ingenuity and determination. Key Knowledge and Skills The Mental Health Act 1983 and Code of Practice. Legislation relating to discharge and aftercare. Care Planning and Management Clinical Risk Management. Experience – Essential Experience of working within a mental health setting Experience of working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team Experience of admission and discharge process Experience of working within the framework of Care Planning Approach Previous experience of working on an acute Mental Health ward, Evidence Based Practice. Communication Skills Excellent Inter-personal Skills Ability to negotiate constructively. Care Planning and Management. Experience – Desirable Managing Violence and Aggression Skills De-escalation of violence and aggression. IT Skills Motivation and Attitude – Essential Willingness to learn. Self Starter Calm Relaxed manner. Motivation and Attitude – Desirable Can work on own initiative.
