They proudly stand beside the institutions and businesses that make the UK what it is.The OpportunityWorking as part of the Finance and People Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering business-focused and best practice HR support. Your role will include managing a variety of HR queries and being the first line of contact by phone and email. You will provide initial guidance, advice, and support to employees. Your proactive approach will support all activities in the Employee Lifecycle.You will work on building strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, particularly with internal teams such as Payroll, Talent, Immigration, and Benefits.Whilst establishing yourself as a credible advisor, your ability to challenge and provide sound advice will be instrumental in fostering an essential collaborative environment. You will work collaboratively across the business ensuring a seamless, first-class HR service.Upholding the organisation''s values, you will serve as a role model for your stakeholders and within the team.What will you be doing?Monitor, allocate, and work tasks from systems used (ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, and Appian), ensuring urgent requests are reviewed, allocated, and flagged to the appropriate area / team promptly and accuratelyAdhere to all Service Level Agreements for agreed processes and highlight issues to the Team LeaderData entry based on business requirementsAct as the first point of contact for queries via phone and emailMaintain strong working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholdersDeal with complex queries, advising on policy matters and escalated issuesManage projects for internal teams such as Talent and BenefitsSupport with sharing communications across the wider businessTake a proactive approach to educating and supporting EXL team members with queriesDeputise for Team Leaders as required, keeping the Assistant Manager informed of any day-to-day issuesTake responsibility for ad-hoc project work and processes as required by the Management TeamContribute to department meetings and lead on specific sessions where relevantPromote continuous improvement within the business and internal teamsWork with the Management team to improve operational efficiencyAssist with reporting and MI when requiredSupport with SOP review and process maps as neededExperienceAbility to build relationships and communicate with people at all levelsHigh levels of resilience, with experience working in a highly pressurised, customer-centric environmentProactive and high-energy individual with a positive approachLogical, systematic approach to issues, thinking outside the box and weighing up all options to make informed decisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to influence and confidently negotiate at all levelsStrong organisational, literacy, and numeracy skillsGood IT proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and HR systems such as SuccessFactors or equivalentIf you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer support and want to be part of a People team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
