As a valued and integrated member of the FMN team, the role of Process/Senior Engineer will include:
- Undertake work packages for major UK and international Nuclear Clients.
- Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Layout Drawings, and Specifications.
- Provide in-depth analysis and calculations for Fusion and Modular Nuclear Systems.
- Produce high-quality engineering solutions across a broad range of Process Engineering topics.
- Communicate and provide feedback to the Lead Engineer and Project Manager.
- Conduct requirements capture, concept design, and detailed design tasks.
- Collaborate with other FMN engineering functions and disciplines for integrated solutions.
- Manage your own time to meet agreed timescales, cost targets, and quality standards.

- Degree qualified in Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership with an accredited body.
- Background in nuclear fusion, nuclear sector, or regulated industries like thermal power generation, oil and gas.
- Knowledge of process plant design, flow calculations, pipe stress analysis, and FEED for process plants.
- Experience in designing and substantiating process engineering solutions.
- Familiarity with UK Health and Safety regulations, safety systems, and HAZOP.
Additional Information
- BPSS and SC required.
- Ability to travel to Assystem offices and customer sites within the UK.
