Consultant Paediatrician in Emergency MedicineWe are seeking a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician with extensive experience and specialised training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) to join our team. The successful candidate will hold a CCT in Paediatrics and have completed PEM training, with a proven ability to manage paediatric patients in an emergency setting.Whilst this position does not initially require GMC specialist registration in PEM, the hospital will support the successful candidate in obtaining PEM registration via the CESR pathway, if desired. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced paediatric consultant with a focus on emergency care to make a significant impact within our hospital's paediatric emergency department.You would be joining a 20 person EM Consultant Team working a 18 week rota which includes 7 twilight shifts over the 18 week rota. The rest of the shifts are of varied times to cover Paediatric ED and resus for paediatric patients.*** Please note - The job description, person specification and job plan is pending RC approval.
