A warm, friendly and well-established nursery in Wimbledon (SW19) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident early years professional who is ready to step into a leadership role within a supportive, family-orientated environment.
About the Role
This is a 40-hour position, worked across 4 or 5 days depending on your preference. You will support the daily running of the nursery, lead practice in the 2–3 or 3–4 age groups, and work closely with the Manager to maintain high standards of care, learning and operational excellence.
The nursery cares for 52 children, divided across 3 rooms, supported by a dedicated team of 12 staff. Many of the team have their own children attending the nursery, contributing to a strong, family feel.
The setting embraces extended learning approaches beyond the EYFS, including Montessori influences, outdoor learning and Forest School principles.
