As a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll take technical ownership of complex, enterprise-scale digital solutions, guiding teams and influencing technical strategy. Mentor and coach engineers to foster growth within the team while driving best practices in software engineering. Oversee cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure) with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. Contribute to the growth of the engineering discipline through recruitment, training sessions, and knowledge sharing. What We’re Looking For Proven track record of taking technical ownership of large-scale services across the full lifecycle. Strong understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., serverless, microservices) with hands‑on experience implementing them. Experience working in Agile environments with a focus on TDD/CI/CD practices. Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for delivering well‑architected solutions. Excellent mentoring skills to support less experienced engineers and ensure high‑quality delivery. Strong client engagement skills with the ability to advise on technical direction. Consultancy experience working with external stakeholders. Exposure to public sector projects or complex organisational environments. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Terraform.
