Join to apply for the Project Manager - Decommissioning role at Brodie Engineering Ltd.Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.DetailsReference: PMD_2025.05Position type: Full time, 37 hrs per week (1.30 pm finish on Friday)Location: KilmarnockSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 dependent upon qualifications and experienceClosing date: 20/06/2025DescriptionWe are looking to strengthen our Facilities team with an experienced Project Manager to work on a decommissioning project, from decommissioning and strip out of wheelshop machinery to the civils reinstatement of the area.Roles & ResponsibilitiesProject planning, structuring, and scheduling ensuring all key stakeholders are involved and information is effectively documented and shared.Monitor, develop and progress the project plan/schedule - acting as the link between the business, work crews, suppliers, sub-contractors, auction house, structural engineer, and local authority planning department ensuring critical tasks and milestones are met.Development and use of Bills of Material to record material requirements for the project and work with procurement to place orders.Day-to-day involvement in delivering the project requirements in terms of managing work crews, materials ordering, safe removal, sale, and delivery of heavy machinery, and progressing quality control.Ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements are in place and observed.Promote Brodie Engineering's behavioral expectations by enhancing and supporting working relationships within the business, customers, and external agencies.Key Relationships & ContractsReporting directly to Facilities DirectorWorking closely with: Production, Procurement, and HSQE.Key Skills RequiredExperienced project manager with civils and decommissioning experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.Relevant project management qualification is highly desirable.Good communication skills, able to brief Directors, staff, and suppliers on progress and next steps.Problem-solving skills, identifying solutions to issues or facilitating with the appropriate person.Commercial and Financial awareness, able to understand project costs and identify efficiencies.Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including MS Project and PowerPoint.Able to manage conflicting priorities and communicate effectively across teams.In addition to a competitive salary, benefits include Employee Assistance Programme, Private Medical Insurance, Contributory Pension Scheme, Health Shield Scheme, and other employee benefits.Apply using the application form below. #J-18808-Ljbffr
