Both positions offer predominantly home working with occasional on‑site attendance. Interim – Governance Lead (Procurement Service) We’re seeking an interim specialist to strengthen and shape the governance of a procurement function currently undergoing transformation. Key focus areas include: Reviewing and establishing robust procurement governance frameworks Ensuring compliance with PCR 2015 and forthcoming TPP reforms Updating delegated authority structures, approval pathways, and decision‑making thresholds Strengthening category governance, contract management oversight, and risk controls Designing effective assurance mechanisms and workflows Advising on governance requirements as part of a wider operating model redesign Interim – Procurement Policy Specialist This role will support the development of a refreshed policy suite aligned to both the new operating model and new procurement legislation. Key focus areas include: Reviewing, rewriting, and modernising procurement policies and procedures Aligning documentation with 2024/25 procurement reforms Embedding priorities including social value, sustainability, compliance, and risk management Incorporating new thresholds and statutory requirements under TPP Producing practical, user‑friendly guidance for internal stakeholdersSupporting culture and behaviour change across the organisation If you are an experienced interim with a strong background in procurement governance, policy, or local government transformation, please apply.
